This band will be remembered for much more than a very odd name long down the road. Band of Horses, a new indie band from South Carolina are on the verge of making themselves a trademark name when it comes to Indie Rock. They've gained enough exposure with songs like "The Funeral", and "No One's Gonna Love You" to play on the Late Show with David Letterman and to sub-headline the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.

Portable Projector for Iphone and Itouch

It's time for a big display from the iPod/iPhone. The compact projector from Hammacher Schlemmer hooks on to the popular iPod/iPhone and a number of other devices. It can project a video of up to 60-inches. The resolution is at 480x320, with a 1000:1 contrast and 3:2 aspect ratio. There's manual focus, adjustable volume control and built-in 1/2 Watt speakers. The projector boasts 2 hours of viewing time and costs $380.

Blackberry Storm 2 said to be released 9/29/09

BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 is the second generation BlackBerry with a touch-sensitive screen, successor of the highly-anticipated Storm. The keys on the front are now touch-sensitive as well, and the screen no longer uses the SurePress technology, which made the display of the first Storm uncomfortable to use. The Storm 2 also adds Wi-Fi, but the other features are similar and include a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS and a full HTML browser.
